Monster Trucks, Final Work Week, & Goodbye's

Saturday, Feb. 28 a bunch of us did not want to pass up the opportunity to see a Monster Truck Show, next door at the Ford Park Arena.

It was a 3D show with lots of noise, smell and action.

It was a busy final week at the King house for our group. Looking back at the last four days we are amazed at what was all accomplished. Final mudding, texturing, painting, floor covering, electrical fixtures, and bathtub replacement and more.

We were under new leadership this week and managed to get all except the bathroom painted. Annette and I got all the linoleum installed while Paul and Bernie made major progress in the bathroom by removing the wall sheeting around the tub, removing the old cast-iron tub and making the old area new.
Wednesday morning we helped the King household by moving their belongings from the rented POD back into one finished bedroom while we continued to work on the rest of the rooms.

Our Jan. - Feb. 2010 Cheek MDS RV group

Our MDS group has been together for eight weeks and now had to say their farewells. Even the MDS camp had to pack up at Ford Park and relocate to Port Arthur for their final month.

We will continue blogging weekly as we travel.
