Fall is our time to hit the road for more adventure, but first here is a brief review of some of the activities that kept us busy through the spring and summer. An exciting event that got us home early this spring was the marriage of our son Matthew to Lisa.
Our grandsons look forward to our annual camping weekend with the whole family.
Another family activity was a weekend at a cottage. Thanks Lin and Grant for sharing. The boys really enjoyed the launchings of the air and water propelled two litre pop bottle rockets.
We kept busy with various projects, some for our children's homes and yards and also our front yard re-vamp with a sitting terrace and plantings.
This summer's weather was great for gardening. The carrots grew long and the grape crop was the best we have ever had. The grape juice is a very tasty reward.
Amara has grown and changed so much in the six months we have been home. Her hair changed from being straight as a baby and now curly like her brothers. She has been getting more comfortable with us each time we see her.
We will be travelling for the next ten days and will post again when we reach our destination in Mississippi.
